Hotels-Paris.co.uk - Story of King Arthur Takes Centre Stage in Paris
Tales of the Round Table dramatically retold in the Stade de France.
PARIS, FRANCE, August 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Stade de France stadium in Paris is usually the setting for the nation's football and rugby matches, but for two nights in September (23rd-24th) it will be the home of a wonderfully creative retelling of the story of King Arthur.
Told from the perspective of narrator Perceval, "the last of the knights", voiced by Robert Hossein, the audience will be taken on a journey through the life of times of King Arthur, with the show divided into 10 stages including "Marriage" and "The Quest".
Of course, such a grand stage cannot go to waste, and staging manager Christian Vallat ensures there is plenty of jousting and epic battle scenes to wow the crowds, along with acrobats, dancers and even the odd falcon.
The shows commence at 9pm, and would make a wonderful evening treat for all the family.
Hotels-paris.co.uk has many cheap hotels in the city centre for those wishing to stay close to the event, including the excellent Helvetia.
