The acclaimed production of Ben Hur Live will make its Italian debut in Rome next month.

ROME, ITALY, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ben Hur Live is due to arrive in the Italian capital on Friday September 30th.

The production, which was showered with critical praise when it debuted at London's O2 Arena in 2009, will run until late November at the Nuova Fiera Rome.

Based on the 1880 novel by Lew Wallace, the show includes a high-speed chariot race and a dramatic naval battle, among other scenes likely to leave audience members on the edge of their seats.

It also features a soundtrack by American musician Stewart Copeland, the former drummer of The Police.
