Morrison started out as the singer in Belfast band Them before his solo hit Brown Eyed Girl took his career in a new direction, leading to the seminal 1968 album Astral Weeks.
 
Moondance, his third studio LP from 1970, was also critically acclaimed and the artist has continued to please his legions of fans with more recent records such as Magic Time and Keep it Simple.
 
Tickets for the Bournemouth show are available online, priced between GBP45 and GBP75 plus booking fee. Doors are due to open at 19:45 GMT.
